Empowering you with knowledge for a balanced birth experience.
Birth is one of the most transformative experiences of your life, but it can also feel overwhelming and uncertain. Balanced Birth Education is here to provide you with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to approach birth as your unique journey - one that you can navigate with clarity, empowerment, and connection.
Balanced Birth Education is a series of three private classes, designed for you and your chosen support person (such as a partner, friend, or family member). These classes blend evidence-based information with practical techniques and intuitive guidance to prepare you for labor, delivery, and beyond.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
Each class session is personalized to cover the essential topics and practices that will help you feel informed and ready. We’ll start with a session to get to know each other, your goals and history, etc, then dive into the rest.
Physiological Processes of Birth
Understand how your body works during labor and delivery, demystifying the process and building trust in your natural abilities.
Partner Support Techniques
Learn how your partner can help you stay grounded and calm through hand, scalp, neck and shoulder massage, counterpressure, affirmations, and creating a positive birth environment..
Breathing and Meditation
Practice exercises that help you stay centered during contractions, manage stress, and maintain focus.
Pain Management Techniques
Explore both medical and non-medical options, like breathing, movement, and counter-pressure, so you can make informed decisions.
If you haven’t noticed yet, this isn’t your basic birth education class you see in the movies.
